Brinkmann Constructors’ “quality engineering” saved the owner more than $340,000 in construction costs through solutions ranging from steel modifications to alternative lighting and finish materials that achieved the desired look at a lower cost.
In addition to administration and call center, this facility also houses an internal data center that consolidates all the banking branch’s information processing and storage.
Its entrance is marked by an imposing three-story barrel vault finished in First Community Credit Union’s signature blue. The glass curtain wall features an eye-catching slanted, two-story radius glass unit.
Inside, the contemporary, two-story lobby features a “floating” stairwell, a natural stone floor and accents of stainless steel, light-tone woods and decorative plaster. The aluminum-clad ceiling is curved to mimic the look of the exterior barrel vault.
