Bob Brinkmann, who built Chesterfield-based Brinkmann Constructors from the ground up starting in 1984 and led it as president and CEO until 2022, told employees at a companywide annual meeting Wednesday afternoon that he plans to fully retire. Since stepping down as president and CEO in 2022, Brinkmann had continued to serve as the company’s board chairman. His retirement will be effective immediately, a company spokeswoman said.
