Brinkmann Constructors Breaks Ground for New Hotel in North Kansas City

Aloft W Hotel / Element by Westin Hotel to be built at One North Development

Kansas City, KS – Brinkmann Constructors, a national full-service general contractor, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony May 31, 2019 for a new Aloft by W / Element by Westin Hotel at 1875 Diamond Parkway, North Kansas City, Missouri 64116.

Located in the One North development, North Kansas City’s emerging mixed-use district, the 135,000 square-foot project is being developed by KMG Hotels and consists of the two-branded hotels each with approximately 100 rooms connected to a 15,000 square-foot convention center. “KMG Hotels is proud to be offering these two premier hotel brands in one project, providing a unique property that meets the needs of today’s customers while adding to the continued economic growth and revitalization of One North and North Kansas City,” said Jay Koshiya, CEO, and Sanjay Koshiya, President of KMG Hotels in a joint statement.

 “We are pleased to be partnering with KMG Hotels on this exciting project for North Kansas City,” said Andy McDonell, Vice President of Brinkmann Constructors. “Our continued relationship with KMG Hotels underscores Brinkmann’s commitment to building success for our clients, again and again.” Completion of the project is slated for September 2020. US Bank is providing the financing and Hoefer Wysocki is the project architect.
