Brinkmann's employees formed an annual charity initiative called BECAUSE (Brinkmann Employees Care About United Service Efforts) to be more engaged and involved in the local community.
Through this initiative, Brinkmann employees select a local charity, and a volunteer committee organizes events to benefit the selected charity. Employees also can elect to volunteer their time to the charity. Since it's inception in 2014, BECAUSE has raised nearly $200,000 for local charities such as:
