A landmark collaboration between Brinkmann and First Bank—our valued, long-time banking partner—resulted in an award-winning headquarters that stands as a testament to excellence in design, efficiency, and partnership. Completed ahead of schedule and under budget, this prestigious project earned the 2025 CoStar Impact Award for Commercial Development of the Year in St. Louis, along with several other awards, setting a new standard for corporate workspace design in the region.
Our shared commitment to quality, innovation, and community impact drove the successful delivery of this 87,000-square-foot headquarters complex in Creve Coeur, Missouri—just minutes from St. Louis and down the road from where First Bank began over a century ago. The project not only strengthened our banking partnership but also demonstrated how collaborative vision can transform commercial construction projects.

The structure features sophisticated post-tension concrete construction with an elegant curtain wall facade and design/build MEP systems.
Innovative Design Features
At the heart of the headquarters is a state-of-the-art “innovation hub” on the first floor—a dynamic space where First Bank employees hold large meetings, host social events, enjoy team lunches, and collaborate on projects. Additional features include:
- Outdoor workspaces
- Fourth-floor patio with panoramic views
- Unassigned open office areas promoting flexibility

As First Bank Chairman Mike Dierberg noted during the grand opening: “The first thing people will notice about the building is how beautiful it is inside and out… But as folks spend more time there, they will appreciate how the design prioritizes employee wellness and provides a workspace that encourages flexibility, comfort and collaboration.”
Community Impact
Beyond its architectural significance, the project created employment opportunities for more than 40 local subcontractors and contributed to economic growth within the community. First Bank and Brinkmann exclusively partnered with St. Louis-based clients and vendors, reinforcing their commitment to strengthening the region’s economy.
