Brian Satterthwaite is the CEO of Brinkmann Constructors. A member of the firm’s leadership since 2006, he is committed to upholding “The Brinkmann Way.” He instinctively brings innovative, hands-on guidance to every project the firm undertakes. Brian graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Missouri.

Brian actively participates in the Young Presidents’ Organization, Junior Achievement, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis.

Tom Oberle is president of Brinkmann Constructors after serving as executive vice president for 12 years, providing oversight of all business development and preconstruction activities for projects throughout North America. With more than 25 years of construction experience, he is a valued mentor to employees and a trusted advocate for clients. Tom oversees day-to-day operations and corporate strategy.

Tom received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He has managed the construction of numerous large projects including retail, office, industrial, senior living and multifamily facilities.

Tom is a board member of the Special Education Foundation and enjoys coaching youth sports. He was previously involved with Junior Achievement, Sack Homelessness for St. Patrick’s Center and the Valle High School Alumni Association.

Dan Feagans is the vice president of Brinkmann Constructors’ Denver office. He has nearly two decades of construction management experience. Dan oversees day-to-day operations for Colorado and the surrounding region. Dan has managed construction projects ranging from senior living facilities to multifamily developments, medical centers, educational structures, retail stores, office buildings and more. This diverse experience lends extraordinary value to clients throughout the preconstruction and construction phases.

Dan received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is a LEED Accredited Professional, has undergone extensive OSHA safety training and is ICC 2012 certified.

Matt Funk joined Brinkmann Constructors in 2007 immediately after graduating college. He managed numerous multimillion-dollar projects and was promoted in 2015. As corporate vice president of business development and preconstruction, Matt oversees the preconstruction process including estimating, bidding and development of design/build GMPs for projects in the St. Louis market, as well as throughout the country. A strategic planner, he ensures the planning phase incorporates considerations such as operational planning, scheduling, budgeting and constructability. His team enacts smart plans to achieve successful project completion, starting from day one.

Matt received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction and has completed OSHA training for safety. He is also certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Contractor Quality Control Manager.

At Brinkmann, Matt is a member of BECAUSE, the Brinkmann Community Involvement Committee. Out of the office, he is actively involved in Junior Achievement and the Design-Build Institute of America.

Ted Hoog is senior vice president of corporate operations at Brinkmann Constructors. He is an innovative leader with more than 20 years of experience in design, coordination and construction. He works directly with owners to provide advice and value management and is also a trusted leader of the internal team, guiding staff through estimation, scheduling, value engineering, constructability/feasibility and cost management.

Ted received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He has completed OSHA training and is a LEED Accredited Professional in building design and construction.

He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Knights of Columbus and the Corporate Development Council. He also serves as a Junior Achievement facilitator and president of the St. Alban Roe Soccer Association.

Kendrick Lathum joined Brinkmann Constructors as an intern in 2003 and, after several promotions, was named project director in 2014 and vice president in 2022. He focuses on growing Brinkmann’s client base and market sectors. Kendrick is a true client partner and team leader, ensuring all projects meet the highest quality standards.

Kendrick received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is a registered professional engineer in Missouri and a LEED Accredited Professional. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers.

Andy McDonell is vice president of the Kansas City office and has been with Brinkmann Constructors for over 25 years. In his role, Andy is responsible for all aspects of the performance and the day-to-day operations of the Kansas City office. Andy’s 30 years of experience as both an owner’s representative and a general contractor allow him to better appreciate the importance of client advocacy, a Brinkmann Core Value. This includes setting strategic initiatives and executing companywide goals and objectives. He works directly with clients to ensure that their projects are given the attention they deserve while safeguarding that they will be delivered on time and within budget.

Andy received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is LEED-certified for building design and construction.

Andy is involved in the Downtown Council of Kansas City and the Kansas City chapters of CCIM and SIOR. He is also professionally affiliated with the St. Louis Minority Business Council and the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers.

Scott Olthoff leads all aspects of Brinkmann’s Florida office, overseeing day-to-day operations and setting strategic initiatives that advance companywide goals. With 32 years of construction industry experience, Scott works directly with clients to ensure their projects receive dedicated attention while maintaining on-time, on-budget delivery. His hands-on approach to leadership and commitment to client satisfaction have been instrumental in establishing Brinkmann’s presence in the Florida market. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University and is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Lucas Rottler is vice president of preconstruction at Brinkmann Constructors, where he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the earliest stages of a project. From scheduling to estimating, value engineering analysis, constructability review studies, subcontractor bid engagement and more, Lucas and his staff consider important details before construction begins. With a focused mindset and an engineering background, he first joined Brinkmann in 2008 working in operations roles as a project engineer and then as a project manager before his current director position.

Lucas received a dual degree in civil and architectural engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology. He became a LEED Accredited Professional one year later.

Lucas is based in Brinkmann’s Denver office and has completed projects across a wide range of markets, including industrial, retail, senior living, multifamily and health care.

Joe Strobbe has more than 20 years of experience in construction and executive leadership. He is focused on growing Brinkmann’s presence, team and opportunities in the Southwest as well as the day-to-day operations of the Arizona office. His insight into the industry and passion for advocating for Brinkmann’s clients have positioned him to make an impact and help strengthen the community.

Jeff Vierling is the vice president of field operations at Brinkmann Constructors. A highly collaborative and approachable manager, he works directly with the project superintendents who manage day-to-day on-site logistics. After entering the industry in 1992 as a general laborer, Jeff continued to chase his passion for construction over the years, officially joining Brinkmann in 1998 and receiving his promotion to director of field operations in 2014.

Jeff received a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Southwest Missouri State University. He has completed multiple safety training programs through OSHA.

Michelle Biedermann focuses on client relations and business development strategies to grow Brinkmann’s relationships in the St. Louis area. She has 14 years of commercial real estate experience and excels at using her tremendous knowledge of the industry to connect and engage with owners, developers and other partners. She is active in many organizations across St. Louis, including CREW St. Louis, CCIM St. Louis, ULI St. Louis and SIOR St. Louis.

Elliott Byers manages client relations and executes business development strategies to grow client relationships and expand Brinkmann’s presence in the Richmond area.

Elliott has 20 years of experience working in building and maintaining key relationships within the construction industry and has worked with clients from all sectors. In addition to relationship-building, he has significant experience with project management and preconstruction. He has extensive experience leading business development efforts and serving as a trusted partner using his many years of industry expertise to understand client needs and create lasting relationships.

Tammy Carr is the director of client development for the Phoenix area. She has more than 20 years of experience in business development and the CRE industry. Tammy focuses on growing relationships with clients by placing emphasis on collaboration, strategy and planning. She is passionate about being an advocate for Brinkmann’s partners while building community.

She is active in ULI, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council and the Arizona Association of Economic Development.

With over 10 years working in commercial real estate, Ryan Fuesting has extensive experience driving meaningful growth in the cold storage industrial, senior living, multifamily and retail sectors.

As a director of business development, Ryan focuses on sourcing new opportunities and implementing innovative strategies to expand Brinkmann’s industrial practice. He is particularly focused on built-to-suit industrial, including cold storage, manufacturing and food and beverage.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Lindenwood University.

Yuriy has more than a decade of experience leading economic development in the Denver metro area in industries like aerospace, advanced manufacturing, logistics, cold storage, food and beverage and health care. With deep expertise in entitlements, infrastructure, fiscal modeling, and regional partnerships.

Bob Husum is a director of business development at Brinkmann Constructors for the western region. He has nearly 16 years of experience in the construction industry and has managed many aspects of the business, from implementing new processes to executing sales strategies. Bob is committed to fostering meaningful client relationships as he works to expand Brinkmann’s presence in Denver and beyond.

Bob received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. His ability to understand all parts of the construction process allows him a distinctive advantage when guiding clients through projects. With a specialized interest in the medical facilities sector, Bob is the founding president of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP). He is also an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and the MetroWire Media Advisory Council.

Tom Kooiman is a director of business development for Brinkmann Constructors in the firm’s Denver office. With more than 30 years of regional, national and international business development experience, he has been a top performer throughout his career. He joined Brinkmann in 2011, focusing on relationship development in a multitude of markets in the Denver region. Before entering the construction industry, Tom managed and trained tactical sales teams for engineering and manufacturing services.

Tom received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. He serves on the board of directors for NAIOP and is actively involved with ULI, SIOR and multiple city economic development teams.

John serves as Director of Business Development for Brinkmann’s Florida office, where he focuses on expanding opportunities in the senior living market throughout the state. With seven years of experience spanning business development, client services, and development strategy, John has built a reputation for cultivating strong client relationships and guiding projects that deliver long-term value to clients and communities. His multifaceted expertise drives growth and strategic initiatives across Florida’s construction and senior living sectors. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University.

Rebecca Randolph is the executive director of business development & marketing at Brinkmann Constructors. She has more than 30 years of experience in business development, marketing, strategic planning and organizational leadership. 

At Brinkmann, Rebecca is responsible for sourcing new opportunities, developing and expanding client relationships, and aligning business development and sales goals with organizational strategic priorities. She develops relationships with clients in targeted market segments, including senior living, student housing, multifamily and hotels, in both the St. Louis region and on a national level.

Rebecca received a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Oklahoma. She is actively involved in many industry associations, including the Society of Industrial Office Realtors, American Senior Housing Association, Urban Land Institute (founding chair of ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative), National Multi Housing Council, International Council of Shopping Centers and St. Louis Forum. She also serves on the board of directors for both the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute and the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.

Dan Russ is a director of business development at Brinkmann Constructors in the Denver office, where he works to maximize value for clients in the national industrial/warehouse market. He has more than 40 years of experience in the construction, real estate development and brokerage industries. Dan’s chief priority is the office and industrial warehouse sectors where he maximizes value for a wide range of national clients. He is a proven expert in national market insights and he takes a strategic, value-driven approach to business development. 

He served in executive positions for multiple development and construction companies across the country before joining Brinkmann’s Denver office in 2016.

Dan attended Metropolitan State University. He has an inherent ability to solve complex problems, and the track record to prove it. Dan is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and a candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM).

Danny Wastler is the director of business development in Brinkmann’s Kansas City office. He is responsible for business development efforts to position the company for project opportunities in the Kansas City market that align with the core values and business development strategy of the organization. After spending nearly 20 years in marketing and business development for various enterprises, Danny has an extensive network of long-term relationships in Kansas City and the building community.

He is a results-driven marketing leader known for his integrity, enthusiasm and passion for serving clients’ needs.

Samantha Cook has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry managing financial services. She is responsible for aligning Brinkmann’s accounting, finance and technology with plans for future growth as well as setting the overall financial strategy for the organization.

Samantha was named a 2019 Top Influential Women in Real Estate by the RE Journals and won the 2019 Inclusion Award from SLCCC. She is on the board of directors of NAWIC St. Louis.

David DeSoto is the director of risk for Brinkmann Constructors. With 30 years of experience in risk management and construction insurance, David leads Brinkmann’s risk management department.

Stephanie Eichmeyer provides marketing leadership to all Brinkmann Constructors offices, focusing on social media strategy, marketing, advertising, media relations and overall brand management. Stephanie has 15 years of marketing and communications experience.

Ethan has worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. As safety director for Brinkmann, he coordinates seamless collaboration between the project and safety teams to ensure full compliance with all health and safety procedures. Under Ethan’s supervision, all of Brinkmann’s project sites implement safety policies, procedures, and programs that comply with OSHA regulations. He also develops safety training education for on-site and office team members. He works directly with project managers and superintendents to ensure safety is built into every project. He brings a wealth of knowledge when it comes to local, state, and federal regulations.

Mary Machon serves as Brinkmann’s in-house corporate counsel and has been a vital part of the Brinkmann team for many years.

She is well-versed in the construction industry as well as commercial development and is an invaluable resource for Brinkmann.

Lynn Shaw serves as the key advisor to Brinkmann’s executive team and is responsible for aligning the HR strategies with the company’s culture and business plans. Her focus includes attracting and retaining top talent, employee engagement, leadership and development and more.

Lynn has more than 20 years of experience as a leader in human resources for major corporations and extensive experience in organizational performance and talent management.
