Brian Satterthwaite is the CEO of Brinkmann Constructors. A member of the firm’s leadership since 2006, he is committed to upholding “The Brinkmann Way.” He instinctively brings innovative, hands-on guidance to every project the firm undertakes. For Brian, maintaining strong relationships is at the core of smart business.
Brian graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Missouri.
Brian actively participates in the Young Presidents’ Organization, Junior Achievement, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis.

Tom Oberle is president of Brinkmann Constructors after serving as executive vice president for 12 years, providing oversight of all business development and preconstruction activities for projects throughout North America. With more than 25 years of construction experience, he is a valued mentor to employees and a trusted advocate for clients. Tom oversees day-to-day operations and corporate strategy.
Tom received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He has managed the construction of numerous large projects including retail, office, industrial, senior living and multifamily facilities.
Tom is a board member of the Special Education Foundation and enjoys coaching youth sports. He was previously involved with Junior Achievement, Sack Homelessness for St. Patrick’s Center and the Valle High School Alumni Association.

Bob Boyer is the vice president of Brinkmann’s Richmond office. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the industry and a focus on delivering complex projects and driving successful outcomes through collaboration and technical expertise.
As vice president, Bob is responsible for growing Brinkmann’s presence, team and opportunities in the Richmond and surrounding areas, strengthening community connections and day-to-day operations in the Richmond office.
He is DBIA-certified and an active member of the Design-Build Institute of America. Bob is also committed to giving back to the community, volunteering with Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia and Ronald McDonald House. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in structural design and construction engineering from Penn State University.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family. As a Pennsylvania native, he is a dedicated Penn State fan.

Dan Feagans is the vice president of Brinkmann Constructors’ Denver office. He has nearly two decades of construction management experience. Dan oversees day-to-day operations for Colorado and the surrounding region. Dan has managed construction projects ranging from senior living facilities to multifamily developments, medical centers, educational structures, retail stores, office buildings and more. This diverse experience lends extraordinary value to clients throughout the preconstruction and construction phases.
Dan received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is a LEED Accredited Professional, has undergone extensive OSHA safety training and is ICC 2012 certified.

Matt Funk joined Brinkmann Constructors in 2007 immediately after graduating college. He managed numerous multimillion-dollar projects and was promoted in 2015. As corporate vice president of business development and preconstruction, Matt oversees the preconstruction process including estimating, bidding and development of design/build GMPs for projects in the St. Louis market, as well as throughout the country. A strategic planner, he ensures the planning phase incorporates considerations such as operational planning, scheduling, budgeting and constructability. His team enacts smart plans to achieve successful project completion, starting from day one.
Matt received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction and has completed OSHA training for safety. He is also certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Contractor Quality Control Manager.
At Brinkmann, Matt is a member of BECAUSE, the Brinkmann Community Involvement Committee. Out of the office, he is actively involved in Junior Achievement and the Design-Build Institute of America.

Ted Hoog is senior vice president of corporate operations at Brinkmann Constructors. He is an innovative leader with more than 20 years of experience in design, coordination and construction. He works directly with owners to provide advice and value management and is also a trusted leader of the internal team, guiding staff through estimation, scheduling, value engineering, constructability/feasibility and cost management.
Ted received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He has completed OSHA training and is a LEED Accredited Professional in building design and construction.
He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Knights of Columbus and the Corporate Development Council. He also serves as a Junior Achievement facilitator and president of the St. Alban Roe Soccer Association.

Kendrick Lathum joined Brinkmann Constructors as an intern in 2003 and, after several promotions, was named project director in 2014 and vice president in 2022. He focuses on growing Brinkmann’s client base and market sectors. Kendrick is a true client partner and team leader, ensuring all projects meet the highest quality standards.
Kendrick received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is a registered professional engineer in Missouri and a LEED Accredited Professional. Andy McDonell is vice president of the Kansas City office and has been with Brinkmann Constructors for over 25 years. In his role, Andy is responsible for all aspects of the performance and the day-to-day operations of the Kansas City office. Andy’s 30 years of experience as both an owner’s representative and a general contractor allow him to better appreciate the importance of client advocacy, a Brinkmann Core Value. This includes setting strategic initiatives and executing companywide goals and objectives. He works directly with clients to ensure that their projects are given the attention they deserve while safeguarding that they will be delivered on time and within budget.
Andy received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). He is LEED-certified for building design and construction.
Andy is involved in the Downtown Council of Kansas City and the Kansas City chapters of CCIM and SIOR. He is also professionally affiliated with the St. Louis Minority Business Council and the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers.

Scott Olthoff leads all aspects of Brinkmann’s Florida office, overseeing day-to-day operations and setting strategic initiatives that advance companywide goals. With 32 years of construction industry experience, Scott works directly with clients to ensure their projects receive dedicated attention while maintaining on-time, on-budget delivery. His hands-on approach to leadership and commitment to client satisfaction have been instrumental in establishing Brinkmann’s presence in the Florida market. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University and is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Lucas Rottler serves as the Vice President of Preconstruction for Brinkmann Constructors Western Regional Office located in Aurora, CO.
He is responsible for leadership oversight and day-to-day management of the preconstruction services across Brinkmann’s diverse market portfolio, including communities (senior living, multifamily, and student housing) as well as industry (warehouse/distribution, manufacturing, and cold storage) among others.
Lucas joined Brinkmann in 2008, holding multiple operations roles prior to developing the preconstruction services department and advancing into his current role. From the earliest stages of any project, he emphasizes client advocacy, detailed analysis, and creative solutions while seeking to deliver project certainty to all clients.
Lucas holds a dual bachelor’s degree in civil and architectural engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology.

Jeff Vierling is the vice president of field operations at Brinkmann Constructors. A highly collaborative and approachable manager, he works directly with the project superintendents who manage day-to-day on-site logistics. After entering the industry in 1992 as a general laborer, Jeff continued to chase his passion for construction over the years, officially joining Brinkmann in 1998 and receiving his promotion to director of field operations in 2014.
Jeff received a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Southwest Missouri State University. He has completed multiple safety training programs through OSHA.

Rebecca Randolph is the vice president of business development and marketing for Brinkmann Constructors. She brings 35 years of experience in the industry, with a focus on strategic growth, relationship-building and advancing business development and marketing initiatives.
In her role, Rebecca drives new business by finding new clients, opening new offices and pursuing new opportunities to grow the Brinkmann brand. She spends most of her time fostering and strengthening partner relationships and building Brinkmann’s external market position, developing relationships with national clients in targeted market segments including senior living, student housing, multifamily and more.
She is active in several industry organizations, serving on the American Senior Housing Association Executive Board and the CREDA Business Development Board. She is also a former board member of CCIM, CREW St. Louis and ULI, and served as a founding co-chair of the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative. Rebecca also supports charitable efforts, including Bike Club for Tulsa Public Schools and the Alzheimer’s Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Oklahoma.
In her free time, she enjoys cycling, running, swimming and participating in sprint triathlons. During college football season, you’ll find her alongside her husband cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners.

She is actively involved with ULI, serving as vice chair of the Arizona District Council and a member of the ULI Partnership Forum and Industrial and Office Local Product Council, as well as CREDA (formerly NAIOP), GPEC, AZCREW and Women Talking. Tammy completed the Circular Economy Executive Program at Arizona State University.

He leverages data-driven insights, market strategy and relationship-building skills to identify opportunities and deliver results.
He is actively involved in multiple organizations including CREDA (formerly NAIOP), GCCA, CEBA, MAM and SIOR. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and holds an MBA from Lindenwood University.

Dan Russ is a director of business development at Brinkmann Constructors in the Denver office, where he works to maximize value for clients in the national industrial/warehouse market. He has more than 40 years of experience in the construction, real estate development and brokerage industries. Dan’s chief priority is the office and industrial warehouse sectors where he maximizes value for a wide range of national clients. He is a proven expert in national market insights and he takes a strategic, value-driven approach to business development.
He served in executive positions for multiple development and construction companies across the country before joining Brinkmann’s Denver office in 2016.
Dan attended Metropolitan State University. He has an inherent ability to solve complex problems, and the track record to prove it. Dan is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and a candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM).

Sam Cook is the chief financial officer for Brinkmann Constructors. She brings 20 years of experience in the industry and a focus on financial strategy, operational excellence and driving organizational performance.
In her role, Sam aligns Brinkmann’s finance, accounting, risk management and technology with the company’s long-term growth and overall financial strategy, working closely with operations to drive performance, support pipeline forecasting and enable scalable growth across the organization. She partners across functional areas to ensure the infrastructure is in place to support that growth and is responsible for the financial oversight of the company’s subsidiaries. She also oversees the company’s ESOP strategy and administration and leads its investment and mergers and acquisitions initiatives.
She is actively involved in the industry, serving on the Procore Executive Customer Advisory Board and the Missouri March of Dimes Board.
Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Universidad del Valle de México, a master’s degree in construction management from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and both an MBA and a master’s degree in finance from Webster University. Sam is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
In her free time, she is an endurance triathlete, runner and HYROX competitor, and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling abroad.

Ethan has worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. As safety director for Brinkmann, he coordinates seamless collaboration between the project and safety teams to ensure full compliance with all health and safety procedures. Under Ethan’s supervision, all of Brinkmann’s project sites implement safety policies, procedures, and programs that comply with OSHA regulations. He also develops safety training education for on-site and office team members. He works directly with project managers and superintendents to ensure safety is built into every project. He brings a wealth of knowledge when it comes to local, state, and federal regulations.

Mary Machon is Brinkmann’s corporate counsel based in the St. Louis office. She has been practicing law for more than 25 years, the last decade-plus in the construction industry with a focus on construction law and general corporate law, all while supporting overall business operations for Brinkmann.
She is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Illinois and the District of Columbia, and is a member of the Missouri Bar, Illinois Bar, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the District of Columbia Bar.
Mary is involved with various charitable organizations and serves as a youth coach and member of her parish council steering committee. Mary earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law.

In her role, Lynn partners with executive teams to shape and execute people’s strategies that drive business outcomes, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support long-term growth. She plays a key role in advancing talent management, leadership development, and culture initiatives that enhance engagement and performance across the organization.
She is actively involved with Vistage and is engaged in multiple nonprofit organizations with a focus on community impact and workforce development, supporting organizations including the American Heart Association and March of Dimes. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Southeast Missouri State University.
