Brinkmann Constructors’ annual employee charity initiative, BECAUSE (Brinkmann Employees Care About United Service Efforts), has raised $31,000 for The December 5th Fund, an organization whose mission is to give families dealing with cancer one great day without worry to create memories that last a lifetime, long after the burden of cancer is gone.
Members of the BECAUSE committee presented a check this week to Tom Wiley, Founder of The December 5th Fund. The donation will be utilized to plan out a day of small memorable moments while a team of volunteers takes care of household burdens and chores to create a lasting memory for a family with cancer. “Thank you Brinkmann Constructors for making OUR day and all the future days for the families we serve,” said Wiley.
